Respect the game.  We play by Blizzard's rules or not at all.  Exploits and cheats, the buying and selling of gold and other virtual assets, and other violations of Blizzard's Terms of Service are forbidden here.  Players caught violating those terms will be given exactly one warning, and repeat offenders will be expelled from the guild.

Respect the guild.  As a member of AFD you're no longer an individual, you're a part of a family, and you represent it wherever you go.  You benefit from the guild's reputation when you wear its tabard or tag, post in public forums and trade chat, or participate in PuGs.  But at the same time, your actions and words have an impact on the guild's reputation—act like a jackass in public and it reflects badly on AFD.  If you bring disgrace to the guild due to your behavior, you may be asked to apologize or make amends in some fashion, or face expulsion.

Respect fellow members.  A guild is a close-knit community, not just a group of people with a common interest in World of Warcraft.  We defend one another and help each other out in times of need.  It's in our collective best interest to see that all of our members are as skilled and knowledgeable as they can be, so we owe it to ourselves to share what we know and what we've learned—the skill you teach your guildmate today may be the skill that saves you tomorrow.  Treat your guildmates as the allies they are—they're on your side.

Respect the chain of command.  A guild of any real size needs a multi-tiered chain of command in order to function—a Guildmaster, 2nd in Command, Officers with various responsibilities, Masters of every class, Raid Leaders, and Raiders.  There's no room for rogue efforts in this game—everyone's got a role to play, whether it's on a 10-man team or in the running of the guild as a whole.  The people above you in the chain of command are committing a lot of time and effort to keep things going, and in return they expect you to do your part.  Players who have trouble with authority or  repeatedly disregard the chain of command will be expelled.
